the skinny on All Ages Facefest 2003

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 12/06/03

FACEFEST 2003 NOW "ALL AGES" SHOW

In the face of the withdrawal of the bar at Unit 20, Pender St. Vancouver
(aka "The Blood"), with only ten days' notice before the annual fundraiser
for FacePlant practice space on June 20, Facefest 2003 has been declared an
"all ages" show and will remain at Unit 20 on Friday, June 20.

The crux of this year's event is the 'split stage' concept. The show
features short sets (15 minutes each) performed by twenty volunteer
bands/soloists, alternating on either side of the stage (Unit 20 has a great
stage for this). The live action commences at 8:00PM, and continues
"continuously" until 2:00-2:30AM. The cover charge of $7 stands, as, if
anything, the performances will be at least as good! In and out privileges
of course will apply.
